3 woofsAbout a week ago, we took in a quartet of Shelties, all related. One was a female named Cassandra and another a male named Sherlock. They were the dam and sire, respectively, of the other two, 5½ month-old puppies Dakota (a smart and precocious boy) and Gypsy Rose (a darling, sweet, and smart-as-a-whip girl). [photopress:Cassie_2008_07.jpg,full,alignleft] Cassandra (Cassie) [...] Sheltie Rescue has a beautiful two year old Collie-boy, just neutered, who’s very, very handsome, assertive, and a great agility prospect. He’ll soon be listed on SheltieRescueUT2.org. In the meantime, here are some photos. His foster Mom, Sally, successfully begged for an early slot at the Spay and Neuter Clinic. It also shows the two 5 1/2 month old puppies who arrived here lately, Dakota and Gypsy, and their Mom and Dad, 9 year old Cassie and 3 year old Sherlock. There wasn’t anything wrong with Alex — in fact, he exceeded their expectations because (for example) he enjoyed riding in the car and didn’t cause conflict with Bunnie (their existing Sheltie).
