Just a quick note to let everybody know that Barbara’s surgery today went extremely well. As soon as it was over, her doctor came out to the lobby and told me that it went very easy, no problems, no complications. And, by the time she got back to her room (about 45 minutes after the surgery was over), she was completely lucid. The pain meds make her a bit sleepy, but other than that, she’s completely coherent!
