Ok, this is officially a teaser. Tommy’s getting a job pretty soon, but I am not ready to tell anybody what it is or when it’s going to happen. All I can tell you right now is that it’s not a traditional Sheltie job and that the woman in California who helped us rescue Tommy is going to teach us all about how to do it. She’s even planning to come visit with us for a few days to teach us, and she’s donating (and getting some of her friends to donate) the equipment that’s required.
As soon as something — anything — becomes more concrete, I’ll give you more details.
(Oh, it’s Friday afternoon when I’m writing this post, and I’m not at agility class with Abby . We both really wanted to go, but I’m still not feeling normal enough to trust myself to walk without falling over. I’m going to Washington, DC, on business Sunday morning, returning Wednesday evening, and expect to be ready and rarin’ to go next Friday!)
