2 woofsChewy’s gone. There is no way to express how difficult it was for me and Barbara to make the decision to let him go today. But his quality of life was not improving. He didn’t seem to be getting better, at least not convincingly enough that we could be confident he’d be "normal" again, at least [...] Well, we got home rather late last night (after 10:30, I think). Amanda, bless her heart, was still here waiting for us. She’d gone to Cottonwood to bring Chewy home before we got here, which was wonderful. Of course, we were exhausted, but it was great — GREAT! — to see all the kids (and, [...] Dr. Kris has been keeping a close eye on Chewy. She has been giving him medicine and fluids through IV and suringe feeding him. This morning she called me to let me know that his stomach seemed sensitive and so she did an x-ray and saw nothing abnormal in his abdoman but noticed [...] (No Ratings Yet) Loading ...
