I have just a few minutes to spare right now, so I thought I’d muse a little bit.
Dali’s still here with us. The person who was going to come visit her found her charming, but hadn’t filled out an adoption application yet, so we couldn’t start any official paperwork. They still haven’t filled out the [...]

13. Sounds like so long ago. But things happen. Don’t they?
Let’s do the good news first, OK? We got a call this evening from Ralph, who adopted Tippy and Copper just a few days ago. He wanted to report on the kids’ first visit to their new veterinarian. Copper was pronounced in outstanding health, and [...]

Lessee…
Barbara checked into the hospital at about 1:30PM on Monday of this week for her shoulder replacement surgery. She walked out of the hospital at about 10:00AM on Wednesday to come home. It’s been a while since we posted anything. I’ve been down with what I suspect is flu (probably H1N1…I’m such a pig !) for 11 days, some days not even able to get out of bed! I’m definitely on the road to recovery, but not nearly back to 100%. Barbara’s been overwhelmed with [...]

Buffy came to us a few days ago and almost immediately went in to be neutered. When he got home the next day, he was a little dazed, but did very well. Unfortunately, he’s been coughing a lot lately and Barbara decided (with Dr. Cox at Cottonwood) just [...]

Yesterday, Barbara drove up to the Ogden shelter to pick up a 10 year old "neutered" male, Buffy, whose owner had died. Big boy, about 20", but not overweight. Lovely, lovely personality, blond sable coat, sweet expression, sway-backed, and very tender on his left elbow. Justice, not yet neutered, won’t leave him alone; today, Barbara [...]

I’m back from Korea. Got in mid-afternoon on Saturday after a long, but uneventful trip involving a taxi, three planes, and a train. Don’t ask… Barbara picked me up at the airport with Abby and Star in the car, which was really, really nice. The girls (all three of them ) were happy [...]
